Fresh Fashion Friday

Can I just say HOLY CRAP? I have never had so many huge, giant smiles put on my face by the blogging community before. After I hit “Publish” on yesterday’s post, I was nervous. I’d put myself out there and shown you my more vulnerable side, the side of me that hides behind the adventurous foodie. And I was nothing but rewarded by your supportive comments, mentions in posts, and tweets. I was hesitant yesterday, but now I just feel pride to hear that my blog helped girls struggling with similar guilt. I’m also pleased to have a pocketful of new mantras to use against my troubled thoughts. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for not making me regret being open! In fact, if anything, I am all the more encouraged to share even more with you all, now that I truly know that I am not alone.

I just had to say all that, because I still can’t get the huge grin off my face :-D

I’m also running out of outfit photos…so I don’t know if you should get used to seeing this topic every Friday just yet :-P but I’m still getting great feedback on each of these posts. Glad to know I can inspire you all for the weekend, especially if it contains upcoming shopping trips!

That’s it for today! Again, thank you all so much for being so supportive. I’m off…headed to a “Shake Your Soul” Dance Yoga class tonight at Granby Yoga (can’t wait to try a workout that combines two things I love) followed by a birthday dinner for a friend at my favorite restaurant!

    I need to invest in a pair of Toms! I saw the glitter ones at Whole Foods but I’m still hesitant because I don’t know if I’d end up wearing them. Do you love yours? Are they comfy?
    Oh and of course you look absolutely adorable in all your outfits!!! Shopping trip pre J Timothy’s? Oh boy.. I think so!!!

      That’d be so fun! Let’s coordinate outfits ;-) My Toms are amazing and comfy. I wear them all the time! I say go for them. They are an expensive shoe like Uggs that are worth it because you wear them so often. I got mine at Urban Outfitters (had a gift card haha)

        I’ll have to get them. I bought some cute leopard Sperrys but they hurt my feet! WTF! Ha – coordinating outfits would be so fun! LOL

          Toms Twins?! Also, I can’t believe those Sperrys hurt! My plain Sperrys are so comfy. I love the leopard ones but I already have leopard heels – I may be a shoe addict, but even I can’t find a really good reason to purchase leopard Sperrys if I already own both Sperrys AND leopard shoes :-P

    Love all of these! You are the cutest. I love all your outfits, but I’m not all for the flowy cover-ups, but that’s just me. And I don’t know how I feel about Toms, everyone loves them, but I think I just love heels too much haha. I am obsessed with all your accessories and that your colourful top! :)

    Ive got a fossil watch too!! Mine’s white with the fake diamonds all around the edge like yours :) My hubby is OBSESSED with fossil. I buy him a new one every bday and xmas!!
    And your style is SUPER cute and casual. Love it. I adore the first outfit. Im a sucker for those kind of jeans with flats.I think its effortlessly cute!

      thank you! yes i love cuffed jeans (or pants of any kind), i think that they really improve the look of flats, to have that flash of ankle (ha, scandalous) before you get to the shoe. with heels too!!
